Origin broker portal launched

Written by Katie Newell-Tucker | Mar 7, 2025 3:44:22 PM

Our new introducer portal 'Origin' went live from the morning of Monday 3rd March 2025. This means that mortgage intermediaries can log in to submit new DIPs using the new automated system from then. Please note that the old DIP form will be deactivated. Broker can just use the new button at the top of our website (from Monday) to log in to the new introducer portal.

Intermediaries were invited to take the opportunity to log in early so that we can resolve any issues or queries before you have a live case.

What's my Username and Password? Your existing username (your email) will work and you will be asked to set a new password and complete a 2-Factor Authentication via email when you log in the for the first time. If you have any problems, please follow the 'Forgot password' process or email us brokersupport@birminghambank.com.

Where can I find my existing cases? Existing Agreements in Principle (AIP) or previous applications will not be visible in the new portal, however, a link to convert those using the existing Full Application Form will remain available for 30 days.  However, any new DIPs submitted via the portal from Monday will be visible and can be progressed via the portal.

Where are the Product Guides and Tariffs? These have not moved and are still located on the website as before.

We believe our portal is simple and intuitive to use, but just in case you are unsure or need some help please check the 'Resources' tab within the portal where you will find a 'Portal User Guide' and 'How to' training videos from our Lending Product Manager Ciara Brierley.

Stay tuned! This is just the start of the evolution of the Birmingham Bank experience and we are incredibly excited to keep developing and building out our proposition to support our customers - so if you have any suggestions or queries, please reach out to your BDM or drop us an email via btlenquiries@birminghambank.com.
