COTs and items for March 31st SDLT deadline

We know the upcoming Stamp Duty changes mean that a number of your mortgage cases will be under pressure to complete before the 1st of April. Please be reassured that we are working closely with the associated solicitors to do all we can to prioritise these completions.

Sending in items for completion:
To ensure your message or item is allocated to a case and put into the underwriting queue, please cite the case reference number and email completions@birminghambank.com.

Please avoid emailing Underwriters directly as it may result in items not being assigned to the correct case.

To help us meet the deadline where possible, please note the following:
-We require 5 working days to process a Certificate of Title (COT) in order to release funds
-This means that the last day for COT receipt will be Monday 24th March for cases aiming to complete by end Monday 31st March.
